The Anchorage

At the Anchorage we offer a warm welcome, a lovely room and a good home cooked breakfast.

Fresh homemade bread and delicious fresh fruit are a feature of our menu in addition to a full English, vegetarian or continental style breakfast.

We have a guest lounge, which looks out over the coast and our pretty garden.

We are no smoking and we can offer off road parking.

There are 2 double en-suite rooms available and they are both spacious and light and have stunning sea views.

Regrettably we only have double beds and so are most suited to couples wanting a relaxing break in a peaceful location.

The sandy cove of Portmellon is less than 2 minutes walk and Mevagissey is just 1/2 mile giving easy access to some interesting shops and good restaurants.

The lost Gardens of Heligan are 3 miles and the Eden Project approximately 9 miles from the Anchorage making them both easy to reach.

The Anchorage is located on the South West coastal footpath and excellent walking is available.

In summer it is possible to take a passenger ferry to Fowey to either explore this waterside town which so inspired Daphne DuMaurier or cross to Polruan and follow the famous Hall Walk.

Charlestown is another small interesting port where you can see tall ships or the Ship wreck Museum.

It is possible to get from the Anchorage just about anywhere in Cornwall in up to 1hr 15 mins.

There are so many places to go and activities to undertake or it is a great place to simply relax.
