Heron Beck B&B Guest House is situated on the outskirts of Grasmere in the Lake District.

This quiet bed and breakfast accommodation backs on to open fields so the garden is always full of natural wildlife. There are lots of local walks of varying difficulty starting from the guest house front door. In the village of Grasmere, a short walk away, you will find many shops, cafes, restaurants and the ancient parish church of St. Oswald which contains William Wordsworth's grave. Grasmere is an ideal spot for touring all of the Lake District by car.

The sitting room, which the guests can use at any time, is situated on the first floor at the front of the guest house. It has picturesque views over the valley to Silver How and the mountains beyond.

Rooms Description
There are three double bedrooms. All rooms are ensuite and have lovely views. They come with flat screen TVs, alarm clocks, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Two comfortable chairs are provided in each bedroom.

Specialities
Badger Watch. Come and see our badgers out of our dining room window when they appear for supper most evenings. Yes, they really are so close you can easily photograph them, without having to be a cameraman from Spring Watch. We also have deer in the garden on a regular basis, together with red squirrels.
