We are a family run Inn with seven good quality en-suite rooms, all of which have been refurbished recently. In addition we have a large welcoming bar with an open fire to sit by in the winter and a fantastic beer garden to sit in during the summer.

We serve a selection of quality home cooked meals made with the finest quality ingredients many of which are locally sourced. We strive to provide all of our residents with a memorable stay and aim to cater special requests where possible.

Once a busy fishing village, Flookburgh retains much of its small town charm and charisma, the local fishermen still head onto the bay on their tractors to fish for local delicacies such as; Shrimps, Cockles and flounders but in smaller numbers than previously.

Today the village and the surrounding area offer much for visitors with numerous attractions nearby including; Holker Hall, the historical village of Cartmel and for the children there is Duckies Farm Park. For the more adventurous visitor we are less than half a mile from Skydive North West.

The Lake District National Park is a half an hour drive away when there are numerous attractions for the energetic as well as numerous attractions for a more relaxed day out.

Throughout the year there are numerous major events that attract visitors to the area. The principle events include Cartmel races, the Flookburgh steam gathering and the holker garden festival as well as the Cartmel show.
