The mountains and high peaks of Skidaw, Blencathra and the Newlands valley are all on our doorstep.

Many other famous walks which make this area a favouite with experienced walkers are a short drive away.

We aim to offer a relaxed and freindly atmosphere to make your stay here an enjoyable experience.
Local favourites like Borrowdale, Helvelyn, The Langdales are all close by and offer challenging walking to the more experienced walker.

As an area of outstanding natural beauty there is plenty to do in all seasons, with a host of local attraction to see in times of inclement weather.

Other local Lakeland towns of Grassmere, Ambleside, Bowness and Kendal are all easily accessable and offer many alternative and interesting places to visit.
