Peak District Bed & Breakfast Rockfield House
Built in the 1850's, the house was originally a working farm and lead miner's cottage. More recently, the house has been renovated and modernised, retaining original features where possible. Today our bed and breakfast guests enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a rural location whilst having the modern conveniences of television, fax, and wireless broadband. Bakewell & Buxton are only 6 miles away!
The accommodation comprises, one double bedroom with private bathroom. For families or groups of up to 4 we also offer a twin room, which shares the private bathroom. Guests have their own private lounge and dining room.
In addition to bed and breakfast, we also offer a three course dinner and packed lunches.
Standing in an acre of ground, Rockfield House enjoys uninterrupted, 360 degree views of the Peak District National Park. You are welcome to wander around the garden or, if you are feeling more energetic, we are adjacent to a network of footpaths that can take you to Flagg, Taddington, Chelmorton, Monyash, Sheldon and beyond to Bakewell.
