Welcome to Fir Mount House, our Victorian period home in the quiet village of Kingswear. We are in an ideal location for exploring South Devon and, with professional cooks as your hosts, you can be assured of the finest breakfast available..

We have 2 newly refurbished bedrooms with their own ensuite or private bathrooms, comfy beds, crisp cotton bedding, soft towels, television and tea-making facilities, not forgetting the great views of the River Dart and the surrounding countryside.

After a good night's sleep, start the day with one of our fabulous breakfasts - homemade breads, jams & marmalades; granola, fresh fruits & yoghurt with freshly squeezed juices; eggs from our own hens, scrummy bacon and sausages from our friends' rare-breed pigs, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms; rich coffee and refreshing tea.

We are a 10 minute walk from the ferries to Dartmouth with its lovely shops, galleries and restaurants; are surrounded by fab places to visit - National Trust properties, local gardens, river & coastal boat trips, beautiful beaches, excellent walks on the coast path, up the river or further afield to Dartmoor.

We have a lovely comfy sitting room where you can read, watch TV or catch up on DVDs and videos, play games and generally chill out. The outdoor decking is a great place to catch the afternoon sun whilst planning your evening.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, we offer an evening meal of the very finest locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables followed by truly luscious puddings. Bring your own wine and we can supply the rest from pre-dinner nibbles to after dinner coffee and chocolates.
