A quality bed and breakfast which is a4Star ETC property with a Silver award also a Green Business Gold Award property, situated on the beautiful South Devon coast, just 5 miles from Dartmouth. We offer contemporary rooms with stunning sea views and we guarantee a warm and friendly welcome!

Skerries has three guest bedrooms - two double rooms and one twin room. Each room is tastefully decorated and is complete with beverage tray, colour television, hairdryer and radio alarm. All rooms have en-suite bath or shower room. We pride ourselves in our choice of breakfasts using mostly local produce some organic, Breakfast is served in our conservatory overlooking glorious Devon fields and the panoramic sea view.

The two double rooms are situated on the first floor and have breathtaking views of the coastline from Dartmouth Castle to Start Point Lighthouse.

The twin room is located on the ground floor and enjoys views towards the village and the countryside.

Facilities

Skerries has ample parking and is located 5 miles from Dartmouth. We have a range of facilities to help guests really enjoy their stay. The guest dining room has uninterrupted views of coast and is available at all times of the day should you wish to sit and read a book, play cards or simply relax.

We offer a choice of breakfast served at individual tables, overlooking the sea. We use local produce where available and all breakfasts are cooked to order.

Guests can now also enjoy the views from the deck outside the dining room. The deck area is South facing, so you can enjoy the sun until late into the summer evenings. We will also serve breakfasts on the deck overlooking the gardens.

The Royal Port of Dartmouth is just 5 miles away. Take a tour of Britannia Royal Naval College, visit the historic castle, take a boat trip up the River Dart, the stream train to Paignton or simply enjoy the magnificent views over lunch or glass of wine. However you choose to spend your day, you're guaranteed a relaxing time.

Dartmouth is also home to a number of award winning restaurants and pubs. A variety of cuisine is on offer including:

Beaches and Countryside
Enjoy the gloriously clean beaches, walk the coastal path or ramble along the green lanes of the area.

You might choose to visit the award winning beach at Blackpool Sands, just over a mile away. Or, take a stroll down to Slapton Sands, which boasts over 3 miles of beach.

Alternately, take a walk around Slapton Ley Nature Reserve.

In the evening, walk up the road to our local village restaurant the Laughing Monk, also an award winning Green Tourism Business. Our village pub, the Kings Arms is noted for it's excellent fish menu both at lunch and dinner.

Of course, you can always relax and unwind here at Skerries with its stunning sea views.
