The Garden House is set within a charming walled garden in the picturesque village of Musbury which still retains a Pub (The Golden Hind) a Post Office and small shop. Ideally located for touring Devon and Dorset, there are many delightful places within easy driving distance to explore. Musbury is central to the Jurassic coastline of Charmouth, LymeRegis, Seaton and Sidmouth.
It is also a haven for Walkers and those wishing to experience the gastronomic delights of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Restaurant.
Charmouth offers a wealth of fossil hunting and hosts a large outdoor market during the summer months.
Lyme Regis is a few miles east of Musbury. It is also regarded as the gateway to the Jurassic coastline and is now a world heritage site. Lymes coastline is famous for its fossil hunting,sandy beaches and ideal for walking. It also has a lovely olde world charm high street full of delightful eating places and individual shops.
Seaton is a charming seaside town and is famous for the electric tramway which meanders its way along the Axe estuary
( AONB)to Colyton village.
Beer is an unspoilt fishing village famous for its underground caves, and nearby Donkey Sanctuary.
Or walk the breathtaking coastal path from Beer to Branscombe overlooking splendid sea views.
A few miles further along the coast is the charming regency seaside town of Sidmouth with its delightful gardens and sea views.
Budleigh Salterton is situated in the centre of a beautiful bay on the western side of the river Otter estuary Budleigh is a tranquil town where you will find quality shops and delightful walks along the seashore.
