The Westbrook

The Westbrook offers 6 rooms, which are all en-suite, centrally heated and double glazed. All rooms now have Freeview flatscreen TV's, with DVD/CD players in the family rooms. Rooms are well equipped with fridges and mini bars, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, mini safes, iron/boards, information packs and free toiletries. Home cooked dinners are available, except for high season, when we offer Light Snacks as an alternative. We also have a residential alcohol license.

For Families - we offer little extras, like a toy box filled with games, books and toys. We supply a small DVD library, and invite you to bring your child's favourite. We can also offer a cot, highchair, and baby monitor.

For Romance - spend a few nights in our 4-poster room, and enjoy a bottle of 'bubbly' and a box of chocs.

For Seniors - we can offer ground floor rooms and a caring attitude. We can also accommodate a small wheelchair or walking frame.

Function Room - we offer our dining room for intimate parties, wedding receptions, anniversary's, birthdays, etc when you can have a sit-down dinner or a buffet selection

Discount Breaks - we offer half-board discount breaks from September to May.

Themed Weekends - join us for Turkey and Tinsel, Easter, Halloween, Valentines etc, and experience a full weekend of excellent food and hospitality. We also offer Theatre breaks, which include a ticket for the show.

There are numerous things to do in Torbay. There are boat trips to Brixham, Paignton and Dartmouth, or if you are a little more adventurous you could have a fast speed boat or banana ride. The Geopark are now offering canoe the caves, mussells by moonlight, or just visit Kent's Caverns, which dates back 300,000 years! You can easily spend a day on Dartmoor, whether walking or driving, with some quaint villages, pubs and tea rooms to call at.

If you are looking for shopping both Plymouth and Exeter are within easy reach. Plymouth also boasts the historic Barbican, the Hoe and an excellent Aquarium. Exeter has the Cathedral and the area along the river that used to harbour warehouses but now offer small shops and craft centres. Take the South West Coast path in both directions if you like walking, visit Babbacombe Downs, Teignmouth, Dawlish, and catch the bus back when you have had enough walking. Nearer to the Westbrook we have Torre Abbey with some excellent art exhibitions during the summer months, The Agatha Christie Trail, with her holiday home Greenway which you can visit on a 1940's bus or by boat. We are happy to help you with directions, booking theatre tickets or restaurants, and to offer advice on the best things to see.
