The Village Inn
A traditional cosy inn free of gaming machines and pool tables offering good home cooked food and real ales along with a good selection of top shelf whiskies. A real log fire burns throughout the winter adding comfort to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The garden is an ideal spot for soaking up the sun during the summer months.
The Village Inn is located in the heart of Lynmouth close to Exmoor national park and the Doone valley. Just a few steps away from The Village Inn can be found Lynmouth Harbour, East and West Lyn Rivers and the famous Cliff Railway, which opens between February and November.
The whole area is steeped in history and is the perfect area for activities such as walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing and just general chilling out. It is a good stop over point for walking the South West Coast Path. For the steam railway enthusiast, we are close to the Lynton railway at Woody bay.
Come and see for yourself, we guarantee you will not regret your decision.
Our bedrooms are recently redecorated and offer total comfort along with all the usual complimentary facilities adding a special touch to your stay. We can arrange champagne, flowers and chocolates for that special occasion if required.
Lynmouth is located on the A39 and the nearest train station is Barnstaple, a small market town worth a visit. Buses run at regular intervals to Minehead and Barnstaple.
Pets are very welcome in the bar and garden and are generally treated to a biscuit just to make them feel at home.
Sorry, we cannot accept children.
