Cary Court was built as a Private residence for a wealthy Victorian family, a home from which they could enjoy the English Riviera. Built over a Century ago on part of the Cary Estate in Torquay, Cary Court is a Plantation style House peacefully situated within the leafy Warberries, a Conservation area, yet only a few minutes from the busy Town centre and all that it has to offer.

Cary Court has been in the current ownership for over five years and offers tastefully decorated impeccably clean and comfortable accommodation, furnished with an eclectic mixture of antique, period as well as more contemporary pieces.

The bedrooms, some with King size beds, some with Four Poster beds are all ensuite, all have Colour TVs with freeview, free internet connection, complimentary beverage trays, hair dryers, C.D.Radio alarms and ceiling light and fan fittings.

Cary Court is renowned for its Full English Breakfasts served in elegant surroundings overlooking the sub-tropical gardens, which are an important feature of the property and include a huge variety of interesting specimen plants and palms normally found in much warmer climates. There is also a beautiful Veranda overlooking the garden and pool.

Free Car Parking is provided on site supplemented by unrestricted on street parking.

Cary Court is not licenced but offers a B.Y.O. bar/garden room well equipped with a Bar Servery, chiller cabinet, ice making machine and glassware. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments.

At Cary Court a cosy log fire will warm you in winter and large ceiling fans will cool you in Summer. In all a quiet, peaceful and elegant guest house from where to explore the beautiful South Devon Countryside.

The owners Paul and Linda Garwood are extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of interesting places to vist and have written a couple of Tours to help guests find their way.

They are also happy to refer guests to a wide choice of Restaurants that cater to a high standard and quality with a range of menus to suit the purse.

Cary Court is able to help with information for all sorts of outdoor sporting activities including Golf, Tennis, Horse back riding, Water sports, walking and cycling.

For those that prefer to take a more leisurely approach, theatre, Cinema as well as the occasional 'Concert' night information can again be made available.

At Cary Court we are constantly striving to improve the quality of our product and services. For example last year we made improvements to a number of first floor rooms as well as recarpeting most of ground and first floor landings as well as principal reception rooms. During the winter of 2009/Spring 2010 alterations will be made to the building to provide both a ground floor suites each with separate Bedroom and Lounge for the benefit and further comfort of our guests.

Neither ' stag' or 'hen' Groups are encouraged at Cary Court, nor can children under the age of ten years be catered for, maintaining a tranquil environment in which guests are able to relax.
