Hendercroft House is located in the village of Halwill Junction close to the market towns of Holsworthy, Okehampton and Hatherleigh. Within a fifteen minute drive to the A30 visitors can easily explore National Trust attractions such as Castle Drogo, Lydford Gorge and Finch Foundry.

The beautiful and stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park is only a short drive away. The market town of Okehampton, with its ruined castle is a good place to begin exploring the Dartmoor National Park. Alternatively, visitors can be at the North Cornish coast within half an hour and walk along the beautiful coastline.

The North Devon coast is approximately 50 minutes as is the Catherdral city of Exeter. A number of popular fishing lakes are close by, as is Roadford Lake, which also offers watersports facilities, walks and a cafe. Winsford Walled Garden is close by in the village and the forestry commission at Cookworthy Forest offers a number of walks.

We offer two comfortable double ensuite rooms. One room has an ensuite shower the other both a shower and a bath. Both rooms have flat screen TV, alarm clock/radio, hair dryer and Tea & Coffee making facilities. We use 100% Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy white cotton towels and complementary toiletries.
