We do not believe in rushing you and it makes time for a snack before you leave us.
We would advise you to book tables for lunch and dinner.
Bathroom with shower, all towels supplied.
Lounge & Dining area.
Tea & Coffee facilities, mini honesty bar, kitchenette with toaster, microwave etc.
Breakfast served in the pub from 7.30am (or by special arrangement if required),
Secure car parking.
WiFi available.

Accommodation is in a separate building from pub so a quiet nights sleep is ensured.

Restaurant & Bar Meals

We offer traditional fare with some interesting specials such as our own smoked fish and game.

Sunday Lunchtime we offer traditional roast with a limited snack list for those not wishing to have a roast.

Our special boards are updated daily.

We try and use the best local produce whenever possible.

We hand-make all our desserts, excepting the ice cream which is made on a local farm.

We even make and sell our own real ale by the bottle.

We have selected our wines with our menu in mind and for discerning wine lovers have added a guest wine list for your enjoyment.

Sorry but we do not offer a children’s menu but we are able to offer smaller portions of our normal menu.

If your meal takes a little while to come to your table it is because we cook fresh food to order.

It will be worth the wait.

Shooting & Game Fishing

We specialise in catering for shooting parties with some of England's finest shoots within easy striking distance. Driven days or just relaxing walking days can be booked for you.

Partridge from September 1st ~ Pheasant from October 1st. Deer Stalking is also available.

We can offer numerous beats on North Devon's fishing rivers. Just call and we we will sort out a day's fishing ~ with your own ghillie if required.

We can also arrange Sea fishing from a variety of harbours on a range of boats. Let us know your requirements and we will endeavour to fulfil them.

We can supply you with lunches for your expedition and a warm welcome and a well-earned meal and drink on your return.
