Welcome to Green gates Bed and Breakfast Braunton North Devon.

Green Gates Bed and Breakfast Braunton is the family home of Dan and Sarah Loder.

We have immaculate, comfortable and contemporary surroundings together with
exceptional food to offer you a B&B with a little bit more!

We are ideally located to explore North Devon's fantastic countryside and coastline. On the doorstep is Braunton Great Field, a famous archaeological site with all the features of a medieval open field still visable to this day and Braunton Burrows, an area of sand dunes extending nearly 4 miles along the coast to Saunton. The Burrows, the largest system of sand dunes in the UK and a naturalist’s paradise, form part of the country’s first UNESCO biosphere reserve. Also on hand is the Tarka Trail for cyclists and the South West Coastal Path for walkers.

A five minute drive brings you to Saunton with breathtaking Saunton sands stretching as far as the eye can see. Nearby is Saunton Golf Club with its famous championship course. Golfers also have the choice of The Royal North Devon, the oldest links course in England, the testing cliff top course of Ilfracombe or the parkland courses of Portmore and Willingcott Valley.

A little further a field but still easily accessible from Braunton are majestic Exmoor, dramatic Hartland and the picturesque villages of Clovelly, Appledore, Lee, Lynton and Lynmouth.

Families, wanting to take a break from the beach can enjoy Cascades Indoor Fun Pool in Croyde or the Leisure Centre in Barnstaple as well as a wide selection of local attractions from the Big Sheep, the Milky Way, Crealy Adventure Park and Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park.

For more leisurely pursuits, the gardens of Marwood Hill and Rosemoor or the National Trust properties of Arlington Court and Watersmeet offer hugely enjoyable days out.

The stunning golden beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough all great for families, couples and surfers alike. Green Gates is five minutes walk from the village centre of Braunton with its variety of eating experiences, surfing and outdoor clothing shops.

We have off road parking, golf club and surfboard storage.

We hold certificates for Fire Risk Assessment, Level two Food Safety and the 'Scores on the doors' scheme for which we achieved their maximum award of five stars.
