Gables Tea Rooms & B&B

Luxury bed and breakfast, with all new rooms, completely re-designed by the new owners Frank and Christine Adey. A fresh new B&B in North Devon Village of Umberleigh only 8 miles from Barnstaple, South Molton and Torrington, and near to all the main beaches of North Devon.

There are many places of interest see our free community information site for the area and also on the BBC devon home page.

We have Rosemoor gardens, Cobatton Combat museum, Torrington 1646 a really good day out (won the attraction of the year) wonderful walks and countryside views over many undiscovered places of interest.

By the river Taw (Tarka the otter) fine countryside views, with breakfast in the grape vine conservatory. Near to the Tarka rail line with trains to Barnstaple and Exeter.

As owners of the Gables tearooms and B&B we have also adopted the Umberleigh Rail Station, with Judy the post Office owner we help keep it tidy with flowers.

WE will be offering full evening meals during the winter, and Christine's Fresh home made scones are recommended, together with fresh farmhouse clotted cream.
