We are situated in a beautiful location with fabulous views of the church, hills and thatched cottages in Lulworth. Our 4 star breakfasts provide the perfect start to the day and Lulworth offers a good selection of places to eat in the evening.

Lulworth is the ideal location from which to explore the Isle of Purbeck.

The coastal walks along to Durdle Door and Mupe Bay are second to none. The Lulworth Ranges are open most weekends and for all the main holiday periods. These provide access to the Fossil Forest and to the deserted village of Tyneham, from which you can walk to Wobarrow Bay and Kimmeridge.

The beaches at Studland Bay are fabulous and if you enjoy boat trips you should take a boat from Swange Bay and visit Old Harry Rocks, or take a boat from Poole Quay to Brownsea Island.

Alternatively, you could monkey about at Monkey World and trundle around the Tank Museum. Or, you could go to Corfe Castle and travel by steam train to Swanage and visit the Chococo Chocolate factory.

We are approximately 1 hour by car from the M27 motorway and 45 minutes from Bournemouth Airport. Wool railway station is on the main line from London Waterloo and a 10 minute taxi journey from Gatton House.
