Situated between Wincanton on the A303 and Sherborne on the A30 and less then 5 miles from either, it is very easily accessible from all major routes yet is well protected from the hustle and bustle. Although quiet, there are a host of opportunities for exploring.

Sherborne with its historic Abbey, 2 castles (one built by Sir Walter Raleigh), 15th century almshouses and famous schools is well worth a visit as are Bath or the Dorset coast if you wish to stray a little further.
