Oakborne is a small select B & B with comfortable well-maintained en-suite rooms set amidst pretty gardens close to all the amenities of Poole.

Blue flag beaches, the Jurassic coastline, restaurants, ferries to the Channel Islands and France all on our doorstep.

We have off road parking and all the rooms offer colour TV / DVD / video / tea & coffee making facilities / wireless Internet / Hairdryer.

Breakfast is cooked to order with a choice of a full English or something a little lighter.

Some of the attractions are Monkey World - as seen on TV- tours around are beautiful harbour -water sports - good range of restaurants - the nightlife of Bournemouth -then escape to the calmness of Oakborne.

In July and August a popular attraction is the firework display held either on the quay or at the beach, also popular is Poole Dream machines when motorbikes of all description can be viewed.

The beautiful Brownsea Island which occasionally has open air concerts as do Kingson Lacy in nearby Wimborne. The revamped Tower Park offers a 10 screen cinema, gala bingo, LA fitness, Reel time video games, Bowl Plex, and numerous restaurants to suit every taste.
