Field House
Field House the home of Jeremy and Sophie Gower who are bespoke milliners and tailors.
The house is light and warm, down a dead end lane with wonderful views. There is lots to do for all interests. The room are large and well appointed, white linen and lots of towels.
Evening meals can be arranged along with packed lunches, breakfast and evening meals are served in the kitchen with a AGA and a lovely country feel, if the weather is good there is seating in the garden and dinner can be had outside it is your choice.
The beach is not far away with lots of water sports and fishing, near Weymouth where the sailing for the 2012 Olympics will be held. We are not far from Weymouth, Sherborne with a wonderful Abbey and Castle with fantastic shops and a garden centre well worth a visit.
There are a number of pubs in the area, some are within walking distance and have a lot of history. Sturminster Newton about 20 mins by car, is an old market town with a good market at the weekend and wonderful small shops. We have three border terriers that will ensure you have a warm welcome and will be more than happy to accompany you on a walk if you are willing!!
Children are welcome and cots can be made available, we can also do childrens meals if required, for the children there are many attractions, Monkey World, Farmer Palmers and lots more.
We accept smokers on the understanding that smoking is not permitted in the rooms, you are welcome to smoke in the sitting room and kitchen.
