Delightful 17th century Churchview Guest House noted for warm, friendly hospitality, traditional breakfasts and delicious evening meals, makes an ideal base for exploring Thomas Hardy's beautiful West Dorset including the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

The Guest House is full charm, our character bedrooms are all comfortable, well appointed and include televisions and hospitality trays.

Meals are taken in our beautiful period dining room. We provide an extensive breakfast selection and our delicious evening meals feature local produce, creams and cheeses. We are pleased to provide vegetarian meals and specialist diets on request.

Relaxation is provided by two attractive lounges and our well stocked licensed bar. Churchview is non-smoking throughout.

West Dorset is a wonderful area to explore by car, cycle or on foot via the miles and miles of footpaths and bridleways. The area boasts many historic sites and houses and beautiful gardens, notably the Sub Tropical Gardens at Abbotsbury. Other attractions include The Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World, the Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove, Athlehampton House, The Cerne Abbas Giant, Maumbury Rings, The Chisel Beach, Maiden Castle hill fort, Montecute House and the Weymouth Sea Life Centre.
