Hooke Farm sits above the village of Hooke, near Beaminster in a A.O.N.B. (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) The Jurassic coast is 20 minutes away by car and offers some of the best beaches in the country. The pretty market town of Beaminster is 3 miles away and boasts 2 very fine restaurants - The Wild Garlic and Bridge House Restaurant.

Hooke Farm is a relaxed and friendly B&B, decorated with a mix of traditional antique furniture with a touch of modern style. In the evenings Guests have the use of the very comfortable drawing room with its log fire and countless books, where you can relax after the rigors of a day site seeing.

There is so much to see and do in Dorset and Hooke Farm is the perfect place at which to base yourself. For instance, the busy market town of Bridport is about a 20 min drive, or perhaps you'd like to see Abbotsbury and its famous Swannery or Weymouth (which is the home of the 2012 sailing Olympics), are both 30mins away by car, the county town of Dorchester with it's museums is also close by. Lyme Regis and Axminster are within an hour and the Cathedral city of Exeter is only an hour and a half. We can arrange for guests to be collected from nearby mainline train stations at Yeovil, Crewkerne or Dorchester all of which link directly to London.

We know that after all the excitement of a day's walking or on the beach you may wish to sit back and relax, therefore Dinner is also available by prior arrangement. All the food at Hooke Farm is, where possible, local and organic. Dinner is a 3 course meal which is served by candle-light and includes a half bottle of wine per person. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for as can an early suppers for children.

All bedrooms are light and airy with ensuite bathrooms and all the modern conveniences you would expect from a luxury establishment. One room can be used as a family room and can accommodate a child in a cot and another in an additional single bed. Hooke Farm is perfect for couples, walkers and family’s alike- the big brass bed up under the eaves, miles of footpaths with spectacular views or how about feeding Wiggy-the-Piggy, the sheep or horses.

Guests are welcome to use the tennis court and don't worry if you haven't got your racket there are lots to borrow if you need to. Well behaved dogs are also welcome (but not in the rooms please)
