Innisfree Guest House
Innisfree is a family run Guest house which occupies a quiet location with fantastic views over Weardale as far as the North Pennines.
Located on the main street of the small village of Stanley Crook, Innisfree is a terraced house, which is larger on the inside than it appears on the outside.
Situated in a small hilltop village we provide an excellent base for walkers, cyclists and anyone exploring the North East.
As well as excellent views of Weardale and Teesdale, we offer a superb breakfast and a relaxed atmosphere.
We offer pleasant, non-smoking accommodation and welcome children over 4yrs old; younger children are also welcome but we cannot supply cots, high chairs etc.
Sorry, No pets.
We have one very friendly dog. For this reason, Innisfree is not suitable for anyone with dog allergies or phobias.
The City of Durham is only 6 miles away, Hexham and Newcastle are approximately 20 miles . The Beautiful fells of the North Pennines with all their mining heritage are only a few miles down the road.
Within half an hour you could be visiting the Roman Fort at Bicester, Hadrian's Wall at Corbridge or even the world famous open-air museum at Beamish.
The local landscape is strikingly beautiful. A trip over the highest road in England will take you to High Force, the largest unbroken waterfall in England.
Open from mid March to the end of October, we offer one double room, one single and one twin/family room.
Prices start at £22.00 per night for a single room.
