We welcome walkers, cyclists, golfers and of course bird watchers as we have ample storage for bicycles, muddy boots, outdoor gear and equipment and even a clothes dryer.

Bempton House is ideally situated for visiting the varied coastal attractions of Flamborough, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough along with the splendid landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds.

There is a good local bus service to all the surrounding areas together with a train service from Bempton which goes as far as Hull and Scarborough.

Your hosts are Louise Clarke & John Cox who have recently aquired Bempton House to provide a simple Lifestyle Business through the Bed & Breakfast along with a private catering service offered by Louise who is a trained chef with over 20 years experience of running her own full time catering business in West Yorkshire.

John who is a retired Managing Director concentrates on his sporting hobbies including Running Hiking & Cycling which enables him to advise our guests on local cycling routes and coastal paths etc. He is a 3rd Degree Blackbelt Mixed Martial Arts Instructor teaching at Hunmanby hall and is also available for private tuition.

We have our own private fitness room which is matted and by prior arrangement may be used by guests for yoga, pilates, meditation etc.

Guests may use our barn to store bicycles, outdoor equipment & muddy boots etc. There is also a tumble dryer for any wet clothes.

We have a comfortable sitting room for you to relax in or when the sun shines you may prefer to sit in our beautiful walled garden.

Fine dining, simple suppers and packed lunches are available by prior arrangement with Louise. All our food is freshly prepared using the finest seasonal ingredients which whenever possible are locally sourced. You are welcome to bring your own wine which we are happy to chill if required.

We take our food very seriously, enjoyment of our meals is an important part of our lives, we hope you feel the same, do not hesitate to inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies or dislikes.
