Blue Cedars is a private family run bed and breakfast set in the picturesque village of Danbury situated on the outskirts of Chelmsford and surrounded by National Trust Land, yet only 35 miles from London. Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street (35 mins by train)

It is a spacious detached house with ample off street parking. To the rear is a private, attractive well established garden.

Accommodation comprises of three double/twin rooms, double beds being Queen size, two with private en-suite, and one single room. All rooms are equipped with wardrobe, bedside cabinets, colour TV/DVD combi with remote, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Breakfast is taken is the dining room with full English or Continental style breakfast using fresh local produce when possible. Special dietary requirements are catered for upon request.

Accommodation is available throughout the year except Christmas Day and New Years Day. Blue Cedars adopts a no smoking policy.

We are also convenient for the historic maritime town of Maldon on the River Blackwater, famous for the 'Mud Race' held in December with many other local popular tourist attractions, and within easy reach of Constable Country, yet convenient to the A12, M25 motorway network, Stansted Airport approximately 18 miles and London Gatwick Airport.

Danbury has all village facilities including shops, and pubs serving good food, (recommendations available) and a very popular tea room at the centre of the village overlooking the duck pond. There is also local golf and fishing all nearby.
