Would you like to get up in the morning, walk 300 yards from the back door and be in the open Forest? Miles of Forest tracks from the house, no need to drive unless you want to. Stay in our Forest of Dean B&B...

We offer one large, airy, sunny double room with exquisite views over the Forest from both windows (to the right is the view from your bedroom window). Pleasant village location, within walking distance of 2 pubs, post office/shop small fish & chip shop(!) and open Forest. Excellent cycling base, and we can provide secure lockup in our garage for bikes if you wish to cycle the Forest of Dean.

Family home, 2 dogs (no children), we will consider dog visitors on request on a case-by-case basis. Our dogs are border collies, and extremely friendly. If you are very nervous of dogs, or wear expensive, dark-coloured clothing, we may not be the best place to stay. Julie-Ann is a professional writer and consultant, and Rud is a musician. We both work from home so are around all day for assistance.

Facilities
Continental breakfast, and full use of the garden, back terrace and deck. No 'in-room tea and coffee making facilities', with fiddly sachets and plastic milk - we expect you to share our large kitchen and help yourself whenever you need it.

On a budget? We're happy for you to use cutlery, plates, microwave, oven etc if you prefer to cook your own pizzas etc and avoid eating out every day. The kitchen is easily large enough to share...

Own bathroom (unlike many B&Bs you can have your privacy, as with 4 bathrooms/toilets to choose from, no need to share! with Jacuzzi bath.
Large comfy sofa and TV in your room, with an extensive DVD library to plunder, (no TV reception due to the physical location).

No sharing with others - one room only is used for guests, so need to make polite conversation over breakfast or wait for the bathroom! No talking in whispers - we sleep downstairs, so you will have the first floor to yourselves...
