A 300-year-old family operated Cotswold Country Manor House standing in 1 acre of secluded gardens and 5 acres of grounds next to Cheltenham Race course yet only 1.5 miles from Cheltenham Centre. Prestbury Village itself is steeped in history (as is Prestbury House) mainly through the English Civil War. The village has an award winning pub and restaurant, The Royal Oak, opposite Prestbury House, which is ideal for lunch, evening meals and bar during your stay. Just around the corner is The Plough, which is the oldest pub in Cheltenham and also has a restaurant. Within 1.5 miles are 23 other restaurants all catering for different cuisines.
Prestbury House provides 14 double en-suite bedrooms. Premiere bedrooms (Very large rooms including 4 posters, garden views and king size beds - not all together -) are in the main house and Standard bedrooms including ground floor rooms (see Access Statement) are in the 300 year old Coach House which is 50 yds. from the main house. Please note that being Grade 2 Listed we have NO lift. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's and we have free Internet Wireless on the ground floor of the main house.

Further afield there is Cleeve Hill and Common (1 mile), a 1000ft. high escapement with over 500 acres of common land (Cotswold Way).Beautiful Medieval Winchcombe village (4 miles) with Sudely Castle and Gardens and Prescot Hill Climb (7 miles).
If you are looking for a chic, modern , 21st Century all mod cons accommodation then Prestbury House is NOT for you. If you are looking for a tranquil, comfortable old family home with high standards and an excellent location then Prestbury House is for you.
