Stroud
Many visitors come to experience the unspoilt countryside of the South Cotswolds and Severn Vale.
Convenient for Stratford on Avon, the North Cotswold villages, Bristol, Bath, South Wales and the Borders – is still one of the Cotswolds undiscovered and least commercialised districts.
Here the pace of life is leisurely. Open common land and the lofty Scenic Route give stunning views of the sheltered hamlets, winding roads and village greens of the Severn Vale. The Cotswold Way and Severn Way cross the district from north to south.
Much of the area is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Glorious countryside, market towns and arts and crafts shopping, unspoiled historic villages, great walking, outdoor activities, rustic pubs, unique attractions.
