A modern thatched cottage, Blackberry Cottage offers a quality double bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is also an adjoining single room.

You will find cotton sheets, fresh flowers, classy furnishings and toiletries, a good shower, comfortable bed, a hearty breakfast with organic, local produce, and a warm welcome. Vegetarians catered for. Try my homemade blackberry jelly!

This is ideal accommodation for ramblers and fishermen. The cottage is situated right on the Clarendon Way footpath between Salisbury and Winchester, overlooking the stream which runs through the heart of King's Somborne, and a mile from the Test Way long-distance footpath and the famous River Test. Many walkers and ramblers have stopped here overnight as King's Somborne provides a convenient and welcome watering hole at the mid-point of both these footpaths, the Clarendon Way and the Test Way.

In our village there is a thatched pub, which offers meals, (except Monday nights), a post office, a shop, and a bus stop all within a few yards. For other shops and pubs, the famous, picturesque town of Stockbridge is 2 and a half miles away and has everything!

The beautiful and historic cathedral cities of Winchester (7 miles) and Salisbury (15 miles) are within easy reach, as are the New Forest, Broadlands in Romsey (6 miles), The Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop ( 5 miles), and Southampton ( 15 miles). Farley Mount Countryside Park is a marvellous recreational area, which lies between King's Somborne and Winchester and offers views and trails for walkers and cyclists.
