Old Bells B & B

The Old Bells offers a warm welcome and is a small friendly B& B where nothing is too much trouble.

Enjoy our famous farmhouse breakfasts using free range eggs from our own chickens, fresh homemade crusty bread, homemade preserves and where possible local produce. Continental and vegetarian options also available. Any special dietary requirements catered for.

Breakfast is served in the Inglenook room with its cosy woodburner and exposed oak beams.

If weather permits, why not breakfast on the sunken terrace, a sun trap - you may catch sight of the fluffy chickens that provided the eggs for breakfast!

Offering en-suite accommodation with TV/DVD player, fridge, settee and beverage trays. There is also a cosy woodburner for those chilly autumn evenings.

The Old Bells is set in a lovely village location close to the New Forest with its many beautiful and picturesque walks where New Forest ponies roam freely. Bring your dog and enjoy walking the many paths, invariably they end up at a convenient spot to have a pint and a bite to eat.

Horses are also welcome as livery can be provided, parking for horsebox or trailer too. Then take your horse out and explore the New Forest - there are many hitching posts at the local pubs!

The village of Beaulieu lies 25 minutes away with its motor museum, quaint shops and the Beaulieu River which leads to Bucklers Hard and its living shipbuilding museum.

In the other direction some 5 to 10 minutes away lies the coast offering beautiful sandy beaches and picturesque cliff walks. The beautiful beaches of Southbourne and Bournemouth (offering good shopping) are some 25 - 30 minutes away.

Nearby Lymington offers a quay with its cobbled streets, a marina and bustling Saturday market. You could watch the yachts sail by, or maybe charter one yourself!

From Lymington the ferry takes you to the Isle of Wight, spend a day cycling, walking, taking the bus or just relaxing on the beach.

Southampton with its famous West Quay shopping lies some 30 minutes away.

Further afield, a day out might take you to Monkey World, or Longleat to visit the lions.
