We offer a very high standard double en suite accommodation with tea/coffee making facilities, TV/radio, hair dryer, central heating and much more.

The dining room opens on to the terrace of a large pretty garden where guests are welcome to sit, weather permitting.

Our lovely Breakfast Comprises of the following menu:

A varied selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, and fruit juice.
Followed by a full English Breakfast or any variation, a continental breakfast or vegetarian option is available on request, followed by selection of tea, coffee, toast, jam and marmalade etc.

Parking is available on the driveway.

Ashdown Bed & Breakfast is ideally situated for visiting many places of interest including, Portsmouth, Gosport, Emsworth, Hayling Island, Winchester, Chichester and the Isle of Wight.

There are numerous Pubs and Restaurants in all areas to suit a variety of tastes, and a few within walking distance from Ashdown Bed & Breakfast.

Shopping Areas include Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth Harbour, Cascades at Portsmouth Centre, Port Solent at North Portsmouth, West Quay, Southampton.
Food Festivals come to Southsea, Port Solent, Cosham the city centre and Gunwharf Quays in 2010, showcasing good food from farmers and food retailers around the region plus demonstrations from local restaurants.
Whether you want to grab a quick bite on-the-go or need somewhere for a special occasion, Portsmouth is the place to be.

The Award-winning Portsmouth brewery Irving & Co. supplies many of the local pubs with real ale. Try the Frigate, Type 42 or Invincible or look out for the many seasonal ales on offer. Brewery tour are a graet way to find out more. In neighbouring Gosport, The Oakleaf Brewing Co. also produces some fine beers which can be found in local pubs or from their shop. Fareham’s Suthwyk Ales’ are brewed completely from barley grown on their farms overlooking Portsmouth.

Waterlooville has easy access to the A3/A3M and is situated between the historic Portsmouth (15 minute drive to local and continental ferries) and the market town of Petersfield.
