The Three Horseshoes is a traditional, 200 year old country Inn in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, yet close to many places of interest and historical market towns. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere, we are happy to welcome you, as well as your four legged friend!

Serving food 7 days a week in our cosy bar areas or in our walled garden, you can sample our home cooked country fare. With dishes such as pigeon salad, game casserole, cider and cream mushrooms and local sausages with truffle mashed potatoes, there is something for everyone. Afterwards, why not enjoy one of our home cooked desserts - maybe baked bananas with Gales country wine and New Forest ice cream?

We have four letting rooms - one double ensuite, one single ensuite and a twin and a double with a shared shower room - adjacent and opposite, so not far from the room. We offer a continental breakfast box, served in your room, which includes cereals, muffins, fruit, natural oat bars and healthy smoothies. Cafetiere coffee is also offered and, of course, fresh milk! A full cooked breakfast can be added at an extra cost.

Nearby there are many walks such as the Hangers Way, South Downs Way and Alice Holt forest. Historical market towns of Petersfield, Farnham and Alton are all close by with many interesting shops and restaurants. Guildford, for those wanting slightly more, is also just a short drive. The famous Watercress Steam line is close by as is Jane Austen's house and Selbourne, where you can explore Gilbert Whites house and gardens.

The village of East Worldham is just under 2 miles from Alton and boasts historical houses and a lovely church. If you like walking, then you can just leave your car in our car park and stroll into the surrounding country.
