We offer 2 double rooms, each with private facilities on the ground floor of the house, which is a recently converted, heavily beamed barn.

Full English Breakfast, coffee and tea making facilities, television, freeview and wireless internet connection are included.

The room has underfloor heating.

Given a little notice we can accommodate special diets for breakfast and can put an additional three-quarter bed in either room if needed.

We can accommodate people who are on holiday or on business, for one night or longer stays.

Abington Pigotts is a very small village on the border between Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. Despite it's size there is very popular public house serving a range of real ales and a selection of good food.

Blacksmiths Barn is about 1 mile from the South Farm wedding venue and is 3 miles from Bassingbourn Barracks so is ideal for passing-out ceremonies. The Shuttleworth Collection is about half an hour away and houses lots of old aircraft many of which fly during the summer flying displays. Some of these featured in the film 'Those magnificent men in their flying machines'.

Cambridge is 15 miles away and The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is about the same distance. Wimpole Hall (5 miles) is a large National Trust property with extensive attractive grounds. Home Farm is part of the estate and offers many attractions including lambing weekends.

The Heath at Royston gives great views of the surrounding countryside and there are good walks around the area.

Addenbrookes Hospital is on the outskirts of Cambridge within half an hour by car.

Royston Railway Station gives fast rail services to Cambridge and London Kings Cross.

Luton Airport is about 30 minutes away and Stansted is about 45 minutes away.

We are sorry, but cannot accommodate pets and since the accommodation is part of our home, ask that guests do not smoke in the house.

There is ample off road parking.

We charge £70 for a double room and £45 for single occupancy including full English breakfast.
