Acorn Guest House is situated in Bishop's Stortford, within easy reach of both Stansted Airport and the M11 and offers you a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a quiet, convenient location. You are able to locate our bed and breakfast easily by bus from Stansted Airport which drops you off 2 minutes walk from our house or you can take a train which is a 5 minute journey from Stansted Airport and you arrive in Bishops Stortford town centre. From the town centre you can either take a taxi or walk. If you are coming by car you can access our website and find easy directions from the M11 motorway. We are about 5 miles from the airport to our house.

Acorn Guest House provides a unique service to their guests offering that 'home from home' feeling, allowing the opportunity to just relax and enjoy your stay in comfort. Guests are very welcome to make use of the garden, conservatory and lounge. Families have the added advantage of a childrens playroom where there is a table tennis table/pool table.

Acorn Guest House is ideally situated for travellers, to and from Stansted Airport, being in easy reach of bus and train connections to Stansted Airport, and for visits to London and Cambridge. Bishops Stortford is a lovely historic market town, with a market held on Thursdays and Saturdays. In addition there is a wide choice of restaurants, shops and leisure facilities, all located within the town centre. Closer to our Bed and Breakfast, is the Harvest Moon, a popular public house, which is only a 5 minute stroll, where good food is served, at very reasonable prices.

We have a double room with four poster bed which can also accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children on chair beds. This is a beautiful traditional english bedroom which boasts warmth and charm and has delightful en-suite facilities. This bedroom also has tea/coffee making facilities, colour tv, radio-alarm, hair-dryer and a complimentary welcome tray with bottled water, biscuits and fresh fruit.

Overall Stansted Airport/Bishops Stortford Accommodation doesn't come any better than this family run bed and breakfast.
