We provide an ideal base from which to explore the Weald of Kent which boasts many stately homes and delightful gardens, go wild in Bedgebury Forest, or enjoy a long leisurely lunch in one of the many village inns.
On our doorstep is Bedgebury Forest, including a 13 km cycling trail, and the beautiful National Pinetum. Within a 10 mile radius, there is plenty to interest a country visitor; the village of Goudhurst is charming with shops, inns, tea shops and restaurants. Golf courses at Ticehurst, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook and Tunbridge Wells, cycling & fly fishing at Bewl Water, Sissinghurst gardens, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle, Chartwell, Batemans, and many more castles and gardens. This idyllic setting is only a one hour drive from London or the coast.
Being a working livestock farm and the home of James, Jane, Katie and little Lucy Farrant, our house offers comfortable, simple stylish accommodation within a separate guest's annexe with your own entrance. There are two double bedrooms, one ground floor with en-suite bathroom and one first floor with private shower room. Guest's own living/dining area with wood burning stove, tea and coffee facilities with fridge. TV in both rooms
