The Old Cottage Bed & Breakfast
The Old Cottage is a characterful 15th century Grade II listed building situated in the village street conservation area. It is formed from the central part of a former Medieval Open Hall House - built circa 1480-1520 – with exposed beams and later Tudor Inglenook.
Eastling nestles on the North Downs in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty five miles from the Medieval Town and old port of Faversham: home of Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame founded in 1698.
The village is surrounded by a network of public footpaths and bridleways and is also popular with cyclists. Faversham Golf Club; Belmont House & Gardens and Doddington PLace Gardens are all only five minutes drive.
We are ideally situated for visiting all Kent has to offer - Canterbury Cathedral and Leeds Castle are just two nearby gems. Whitstable, famous for its Oysters, is 25 minutes away.
We are also a perfect 'pit-stop' for trips to and from the continent, and a great base if your working in Kent as we are:
