White Rose Lodge

White Rose Lodge is a superb 5* bed and breakfast situated in the medieval town of Sandwich to which Gill & Ian welcome you to their home.

We are in a perfect location for exploring this lovely corner of Kent and also for the famous Royal St George's and Princes Golf courses just a 5 min drive away.

We have three rooms with beautiful linen/towels/robes and toiletries. Chocolates/fruit/biscuits and sherry are complimentary in your room with a well stocked tea try. We also have a hot tub and a beauty salon where guests may book massages/facials/manicures and many other treatments during your stay.

Flat screen TVs and free Wifi are also provided for your enjoyment.

Our award winning breakfast is served in the tranquility of the conservatory and produce is sourced locally from 'The Garden of England'. Vegetarian options are available and we can cater for any other dietary requirements if requested beforehand.

'Greets' can be booked via 'Visit Kent' and Gill is a Sandwich 'Greeter' and can take you on a tour around Sandwich. There are many lovely places to eat in Sandwich all of which are within walking distance of White Rose Lodge and we can book for you in advance if requested.

We have free off road parking at White Rose Lodge so you can enjoy the town without the hassle and cost of parking. The train station is only a few minutes walk if you wish to arrive by train. Trains from Charring Cross and St Pancras to Sandwich are quite frequent. There is a good local bus service to Ramsgate/Margate/Deal/Dover and Canterbury.

We are not far from Folkestone if you are planning a trip to France on Eurotunnel, stop over in Sandwich on the way. Check in time is 5pm and check out is 10.30am, any alternative times for check in needs to be discussed with White Rose Lodge.

There are some lovely shops in Sandwich as we do not have the typical 'high street shops' as Sandwich has a conservation order on the town. You can spend some time browsing the independent shops such as Lady Elegance a beautiful shop selling Italian/French/Spanish shoes and bags and they also make hats to order for occasions and bridal jewellery so if you have a wedding coming up come over to Sandwich for the outfit. Brides and Mothers are easily accommodated with the superb range of outfits/shoes/hats and wedding dresses available in Sandwich.

Take a trip down or up the river via the River Taxi again only a short walk from White Rose Lodge. Guests are welcome to relax on a sunny day in our lovely large garden with afternoon tea provided and home made cakes.
