Set in its own 3-acre garden on the unique Romney Marsh, a working farm Haguelands Farm offers a very special warm welcome to all its guests. All the bedrooms are tastefully furnished to the very highest standard, with many surprise touches to make your stay unforgettable. The garden has many quiet corners to enjoy. The guest's sitting room with log fire is always available to relax in.
A plentiful farmhouse breakfast is served every morning using only the finest ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. (You can even collect your own eggs for breakfast!)
Horse riding, tennis, fishing and golf are all with in easy reach, and are just a few of the activities available, we are happy to book any activity for guests in advance.
A leisurely ten minute walk finds you on the blue flag golden sands of Dymchurch, and for the out and about days exploring in the car, Port Lympne Zoo, Magical Leeds Castle, historic Rye, the Cathedral of Canterbury, Dover Castle are all under half an hours drive.
Hever Castle the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Sissinghurst Castle made famous by Vita Sackville West and Chartwell, Churchill's Kentish home are also with in an hours drive through some of the prettiest countryside in England.
For the more adventuresome France is 20 minutes by plane from Lydd or 40 minutes on the channel Tunnel, a trip to LeTouquet or even Bruges is an easy day out, giving your holiday a foreign touch for a day.
Romney Marsh is a much-loved unique place with 14th and 15th century smugglers pubs, ancient churches, and RSPB bird reserves. The smallest public narrow gauge railway runs across the Marsh giving visitors a closer look at the Marsh So much to do and so many ways to relax during a stay making all the ingredients for that very special break or holiday.
