Rose Cottage is a 200 hundred-year-old cottage situated on the A59 at the gateway to the picturesque Ribble Valley.

Established by the present owners as a Bed and Breakfast in 1984, Terry and Marje bid a warm welcome to all of our guests.

Situated midway between Preston and Clitheroe yet enjoying a rural location, Rose Cottage is ideal for the businessperson wanting a friendly, homely environment.

Just 5 miles from M6 J31. And M65, J6
Railway stations; Blackburn just 5miles and Preston (main line) 9 miles
Airports; Manchester and Liverpool both take about an hour by road and Blackpool just half an hour.

RIBBLE VALLEY is half way when cycling Lands End to John o Groats, we offer under cover locking storage for your bikes.

Also motorbikes are parked secure and under cover. The Ribble Valley is an ideal base for the tourist; we are a short drive from many popular places of interest, i.e.
Blackpool, Southport, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, 20 minutes to Skipton 10 minutes to Pendle Hill and its Witches!

We provide a fridge, trouser press and ironing facilities for guests' convenience.
Guests facilities include, en-suite shower room or private bathroom, tea, coffee and beverages, TV and radio-alarm, hairdryers, shaver points, heated towel rail, electric fans, shoe cleaning, fridge, ironing facilities, we also accept well behaved pets.

During your visit to Rose Cottage, we will provide you with a hearty English breakfast, freshly prepared from local produce, complete with tea or freshly ground coffee.

A lighter, or vegetarian option can be provided upon request, and should you wish to eat out at one of the many fine-eating establishments in our area, we will be only to happy to recommend one to you.
