Cloddygate Farm is a welcoming 19c Farmhouse situated in open farmland on the Lincolnshire coast near the historic market town of Louth. An ideal base from which to explore Lincolnshire Poacher Country
Close by are coastal nature reserves with marsh orchids and samphire, full of wild birds and visited by Atlantic grey seals in winter.
The peaceful lanes, footpaths and miles of wild, beautiful coastline are ideal for cycling, walking, photography, or just relaxing.
We are passionate about good, seasonal, local food and prepare full English or vegetarian breakfast using almost all organic or home grown ingredients .
Our breakfast menu includes organic traditional English breakfast or veggie alternatives, some lighter dishes such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and some old favourites. We also have a range of cereals (including gluten free), juices, teas and fresh ground coffees.
We're working hard to reduce our carbon foot print by recycling and composting everything possible! Our electricity is from a green source, we have high spec solar panels and our wood burning stove runs on local wood. We always use natural cleaning products and garden organically .
We can usually accommodate most special diets (Terry is vegetarian), just let us know in advance, particularly if you have any food allergies.
Your comfortable and pretty bedroom with private bathroom has far reaching rural views of open fields and St. Boltoph's church in the distance.
Tea & coffee making facilities are provided of course but we're happy to make you a fresh pot of tea or coffee on request.
We are very lucky to live in this beautiful part of the countryside with wide open skies and perfect sunsets. Come and stay with us, take time out to find space, relax and recharge.
