This is a very quiet and peaceful area mostly suitable for middle aged and senior citizens and for anyone who prefers to be away from the nightlife activity of a busy resort such as Skegness.

There are 2 pub/restaurants within easy walking distance and many more restaurants within easy driving distance.

As this area is flat it is ideal for walking and cycling, bird watching is also popular as we are only 8 miles from Gibraltar Point known for some rare bird visitors particularly in the winter when there is an easterly wind. A recent visitor was a 'hoopoe' from South Africa. Towards Boston is the newly opened bird reserve of Frieston Shore which is now home to breeding flocks of avocets and oystercatchers both areas are very important bird watching reserves in this country.

Just 9 miles in the opposite direction you can visit Snipedales Coutry Park and nature reserve situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. There are many beautiful small villages nestling in the Lincolnshire Wolds, one of which is Somersby home to the poet Lord Alfred Tennyson

If you are a lover of the countryside you will enjoy your stay at Bridge Bungalow. This area is also well known to anglers, as there is an abundance of fishing lakes, drains and rivers all within easy driving distance.

For site seeing we are very close to Skegness, and Boston home of the 'Boston stump' we are also only 1 hours drive from the historic city of Lincoln.
