Set in the heart of historic Lincoln the Carline Guest house is a charming fronted Edwardian house.
The proprietors Barrie and Jackie offer the kind of warm hospitality that, coupled with the tasteful traditional furnishing, provides a welcoming atmosphere to all their guests. Since 1977, when the Carline Guest house was first opened, The Carline has established a reputation for excellence resulting in being recommended by the Which Good Bed and Breakfast Guide since 1988.
We have a Dining/sitting room where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast and plan your days activities. A special effort is made to ensure we have a good stock of tourist literature and information for you to get the most from your visit to Lincoln.
Each room is fully equipped with en suite facilities, hospitality tray, hairdryer etc.
A short stroll taking in panoramic views of the city leads you to the ancient centre of Lincoln, where you will find the Cathedral, Castle, Museums and the Lawns Visitor Centre, amongst a network of Olde Worlde Shoppes and Attractions.
Also numerous eating establishments to provide your lunch and dinner. ask for our recommendations.
If you walk down the famous steep hill this will take you to the not so old Lincoln where you will find the Brayford Waterfront for boat trips down the river and plenty of places to have your lunch, the University, the new Collection Museum and much more including plenty of shops. We also have Private off street and garaged parking.
We are totally non smoking.
