Nestled in the centre of the beautiful village of Swayfield Nr Grantham Lincolnshire, We are a freehouse and pride ourselves on our Warm & friendly service, Seriously good food, Luxury ensuite rooms, quality cask ales, fine wines, and fresh bean coffee.
Our lovely olde world bar boasts a log burner fire, wood beamed ceiling, tastefully decorated, with beautifully framed pictures for sale.
The restaurant is open from 12-2.00pm & 6.30 - 9pm Tuesday - Saturday, Sunday 12 - 5pm (Although we do provide snacks at other times), The bar is open 11 - 11pm Tuesday - Saturday & 12 - 10.30pm Sunday, we are happy for diners to enjoy meals in both the restaurant or you can if you prefer have your meal by the fire in the bar, we welcome well behaved children up to 8pm, and provide our acorns menu for the little ones.
Our 5 letting rooms, recently refurbished consist of a standard double £69 and twin room from £49 single or £69 twin, which are lovely, or for something a little special we have 3 Luxury Ensuite Rooms - consisting of a King Sized family room £110, Double £79, and twin £59 single or £79 twin. We also allow dogs in the rooms at an additional cost of £10 per room per night. All of our rooms boast the very best beds, with lovely linen, Lcd Tv's, Safe, and ensuite bathrooms and all prices include full English breakfast Relax, Chat, Enjoy!
We can be found 3 miles off the A1, (app 1 mile south of Colsterworth) or follow the A151 Colsterworth to Bourne (signed) with plenty of pleasant country walks. Ideally situated for Grantham, Stamford & Peterborough, also Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle and Belton House.
