Green Haven Lodge
Green Haven is situated to the rear of our family home and is a detached lodge with its own private entrance and secure off road parking. The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with full ensuite and large walk in shower. Large private lounge /dining area complete with flat screen TV and freeview also a fridge for guests use.
The lodge which has full central heating overlooks the garden and koi pond. There is also a large patio to the front which our guests are welcome to use. The village of Rackheath lies on the outskirts of the historical city of Norwich in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, and only five miles from Wroxham.
Taking yourself off for a trip on the river is one of the best ways to explore and enjoy the countryside. Choose between hiring a vessel for an hour or a day. Water sports are well catered for with several centres where you can learn to sail, canoe or windsurf.
Attractions range from a unique curious tree house adventure and junior barns to museums, mills and gardens. Get back to nature by following a trail, fishing or bird watching.
The Norfolk Broads is the place to discover picture postcard landscapes, ancient churches and numerous pretty villages. With miles of peaceful country lanes, much of which is relatively flat, The Norfolk Broads can easily be explored by bicycle.
The Norfolk Broads is the perfect location for walking, with over 190 miles of footpaths and nature trails through gentle rolling countryside and quiet lanes. Scenic views provide a serene setting in which to relax and explore at your own pace, and with a huge choice of itineraries there's something to suit all ages and stamina!
Whether you have difficulty walking, use a wheelchair or have a double buggy, much of The Norfolk Broads is still accessible for you. There is no reason at all why you cannot enjoy this spectacular area of inland waterways.
Whether you want a quiet drink, a traditional tea, an elegant dinner or somewhere for a big celebration the Norfolk Broads has it all. With great breweries plus farmers' markets and village shops.
