So much to do and see:

Many walks from the door - to Morston or Wells Quay where there are pubs cafes and shops. Pick up a boat to go seal-watching or walk out into the wonderful Holkham pinewoods and vast sandy shore.

A short drive away is Cley next the Sea with a shingle beach and excellent delicatessen for picnic food, The water is always deep enough to swim here and there is a car park nearby. Here also is a wildlife centre with far reaching views across the marsh, free viewing binoculars and a cafe.

Inland there are many lovely old villages, great for cycling round. Holt, our local Georgian town is a maze of old streets and boutique shops and galleries.

We have an abundance of stately homes, gardens and parks. National Trust Felbrigg, Blickling, Sherringham Park. Private Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall are on the way to Kings Lynn and beyond is of course, Sandringham.

Simply wandering out from the door is our favourite however, onto the marsh, the skylarks, curlews, redshanks, egrets and the wide open sky. It truly is a breath of fresh air for the heart and soul.

Time rolls up here and a few days holiday can seem like much more and yet it goes so quickly! Stiffkey is special - you'll want to return again and again.
