The Chestnuts, Bed & Breakfast, Norfolk
The Chestnuts is a family home located at the centre of South Norfolk. The House is over 100 years old and is set in over an acre of garden which guest are welcome to enjoy.
We offer a full English breakfast using local produce whenever possible.
We are within easy reach of Norwich and all its attractions. History - The Castle one of the finest Norman Cathedrals in England, Art or shop till you drop!
Two shopping Malls plus many very attractive independent shops and the lovely covered market.)
Norwich is served by a very good park and ride system or there is a very good bus service from Long Stratton.
If you prefer something more leisurely, the pretty market towns of Bungay, Harleston, Wymondham and Diss are only 20 minutes away, and are well worth a visit.
You can be on the coast - Southwold, Lowestoft,Yarmouth, or the Norfolk Broads in under an hour.
Other nearby attraction are Bressingham Steam Museum and Garden centre, Forncett Steam Museum, The Dinosaur Park, Snetterton race track, Otter Trust, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, Forncett Vineyard.
There is also a good network of footpaths if walking is your thing. Plus a series of local cycle routes.
