The Harrogate Arms B & B
The Harrogate Arms offers a warm and friendly welcome to all its visitors. Built originally as a bath house in the 18th century the building itself stands alone in tranquil woodlands adjacent to RHS Harlow Carr gardens with several public walks on our doorstep.
Harrogate town centre is approximately 1.5 miles away, a short taxi ride to the international conference centre and other local attractions such as The Turkish Baths, Valley Gardens, and individual boutiques for all you shoppers out there. Nearby places of interest include Harewood House, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey, York City Centre, Ripon Races and much, much more.
Our restaurant holds approximately 50 people, depending on how many have gathered around the open log fire! The menu features locally sourced, fresh produce, with game caught by our resident Hawk! We also cater for vegetarians and any specialist dietary needs (please advise us before you arrive). We have a selection of real ales and fine wines along with lagers, spirits and many soft drinks.
The bedrooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard and have all been individually styled. We currently have 2 double ensuite rooms, 1 twin ensuite room and a single room with use of a shared bathroom.
Other facilities include, baby changing, disabled access and toilet on the ground floor, childrens play area, beer garden and recently introduced, 'Fly a Hawk', a woodland walk with a trained falconer where you will handle, feed and fly a hawk. It is suitable for all ages and no minimum numbers are required.
