Sharyn and Martin welcome you to Swallows Nest, a converted barn situated approximately 3 miles from Whitby.

It is an ideal location for exploring the historic port of Whitby.

The North Yorkshire Moors National Park and well loved centres such as Robin Hood's Bay and Goathland (of 'Heartbeat' fame) are within easy reach.

We are situated just ½ a mile from the Cleveland way and welcome walkers. A pick up and drop off service is available.

The well appointed bedrooms have en-suite facilities, Colour TV/DVD and hospitality trays.

Guests can relax in the well appointed spacious lounge. There is a feature open fireplace which only enhances the cosy atmosphere.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the beamed dining room.

Breakfast: Cereals, fruit juice and fresh fruit are available with a full Swallows breakfast comprising bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes. We cater for vegetarians and other dietary needs. Please indicate at time of booking

Much of the food is locally sourced including the eggs from our chickens Marilyn and Margot.

Afternoon Tea: After a long day walking or touring, afternoon tea can be provided on request.

Packed Lunches: Packed lunches are available on request.
Tariff

Tariff per person per night including breakfast:

The Balcony From £30.00 - £32.00 based on two people sharing this double room. Single Occupancy from £50.00

The Nest From £28.00 - £30.00 based on two people sharing this double/twin room. Single Occupancy from £45.00

A minimum stay of two nights is usually required between Friday and Sunday and at Bank Holidays. A discount is available when booking five nights or longer - please enquire for further details.

Special Breaks: Three night midweek special breaks are sometimes available during November, January and February. Please enquire for further details.
