Dove Cottage 4 star bed & breakfast
Dove Cottage is situated in the small village of Drax near Sleby, we are located approximately 800-1000 metres from the roundabout heading into the village as you approach from the power station.
Our accommodation comprises of two double en-suite rooms. Both having shower/bath. TV. Free wifi. Tea and coffee making facilities. off street private car parking, the rooms over look our paddock where Toby our pony lives. We are in easy reach of the M62 junction 36. (Approximately 4 miles away) the A19, and less than an hour from York, Leeds. Harrogate, Scunthorp, Doncaster, Hull. And approximately one hour fifteen mins from Manchester.
We have just two rooms and offer single occupancy as well as double. Pets are accommodated but by prior appointment. We have a cot to add to the rooms for small children and a single bed is added for older children. On occasion we do offer the second room at a discounted price for guest with older children if it is available.
Our village supports a small public house five minuets walk away, and a social club again five minuets walk away. The public house does not offer food; the club however offers food all day everyday. A short five minuets drive to Camblesforth and there is a public house called the Black Dog, they are open everyday except Monday's. Back to Dove Cottage. Deborah your hostess is an amateur potter, she also paints and sew's. Some of her creations are dotted around the house. Debby works outside in a converted stable where Figgy our little black tomcat makes himself very useful paddling around the place.
We let our rooms at a room rate not per person.
A double room. (based on two people sharing) is £50.per night. This price includes breakfast for both guest.
And a single room (one person) is £35.per room. And it includes breakfast for the one guest. We do offer discounts for longer stay's
