April House is a late Victorian house set in a quiet tree-lined street. It retains the grace and character of its age with lovely mouldings and original fireplaces. The beautiful wood panelled doors are a special feature and add charm to the spacious, tastefully furnished rooms. Each room has independent heating so that guests may choose their own room temperature.
There are Colour TVs and Tea/coffee making facilities. An excellent library is available with a wide range of reading to suit all tastes. Whatever you choose to do, you can be assured of a friendly welcome and a genuine effort to make your stay here a memorable one. Wireless internet access is provided free of charge for all our guests

Finding Us
On entering the town follow the Harrogate International Centre signs. When you reach the Harrogate International Centre (marked 'C' on map) turn up Alexandra Road. At the 'T' junction on the right is April House. There are airports at Leeds (20 min. drive) and Manchester (11/2 hour drive). The Harrogate International Centre, exhibition hall, shops, gardens and restaurants are all within a very short walk.
Local Information
Harrogate is renowned for its beautiful floral displays and gardens, together with the open parkland known as the Stray. It is a multiple winner of the 'Beautiful Britain in Bloom' and 'Entente Floral Awards'.
Among the lovely shopping streets are to be found elegant fashion shops and many high quality antique shops. There is much to entertain with a varied programme of concerts, shows and exhibitions.
Eating out is a delight; restaurants abound to suit every pocket and taste, from Indian to Italian, French to Cantonese and of course, English. Within short drives can be found the most delightful countryside, offering opportunities for walking, climbing, horse riding or just sightseeing among the ancient abbeys, stately homes, towns and villages.
