Welcome To Bartle House. We are fortunate enough to have a wonderful old rectory hall on the property, which originally belonged to the church across the way. We have lovingly transformed this unused and largely forgotten building into a comfortable and serenely quiet place to stay, for any occasion.
The accommodation comprises the huge 45' x 16' EnSuite Rectory Hall, tastefully divided into three areas. Comprises Bed Area - Mahogany Super King Size Sleigh Bed with Foam Mattress and Egyptian Cotton Bedding. 36in. TV; DVD player. Kitchen Area - Spacious food prep and breakfast/dining, overlooking the mature garden and pond. Microwave, Tea/Coffee Making, Toaster/Small Grill, Refrigerator. Sitting Area - Sofa Bed, 36' Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Work Desk, Free Internet Access.
A completely secluded, private building with separate access. We bring you breakfast, cooked to your liking.
We also offer vegetarian options. We welcome well-behaved children over 7, and dogs by prior arrangement only. Evening meals often available.
Stay at Bartle House and be close to Lincoln (east), with its magnificent cathedral and castle, not to mention shopping; Sheffield (west) with its botanical gardens and arts tower, York (north) with its history steeped cobbled streets and Minster, and Newark (south), with its buzzing antique fairs.
Closer by are great days out such as Clumber Park, Rufford Abbey, Creswell Crags and Sherwood Forest.
